I built a "Reply Guy" automation tool in 48 hours.

Here’s the reality I faced: If you want anyone to see your posts on X today, you can't just post. You have to reply to others, hundreds, even thousands of times, to earn your place in the algorithm.

It’s a grind. So I built something to fix it.

I was at the Builder's Club in Kitchener this week working on a Chrome Extension to help. Huge thanks to some fellow builders there who saw the very first (messy) demo.

The result is Reply Extension for X. It reads the tweet (and image!), understands the context, and gives you 10 starting points instantly. No more "Great post!" bot behavior. This is about speed and flow. You can select witty, supportive, or insightful, the top three I've been using. I can potentially add dozens of personas.

I need your help. It’s not on the Chrome Web Store yet, so I’m looking for brave beta testers to break it.

If you have an X account, can you try it out?

  • Install: Does the manual load process work?
  • Login: Can you sign in with X?
  • Utility: Does it actually save you time, or does it feel clunky?
  • Messaging: Does the website explain the value clearly?

Or... be honest: Does the whole idea make you go "ick"?
